Seagull Point Park

We went to Seagull Point Park for the rocks and stayed for the sunset. We pulled into the first of two parking lots off Forest Avenue and began walking down the beach headed west. After a while, we saw that the sun was going to set soon, so we turned around and started heading east towards the point. We didn’t find many keepers here as most of the rocks were almost pea gravel-sized, but it was a fun hunt regardless, and we found a few keepers. By the time we got to the point, the sun was setting, and we sat on the large rocks to watch it go down. There is a parking area right next to the point that has picnic tables, benches, and a bathroom. Seagull Point Park is a great place to look for rocks, swim, or take a load off and have lunch.
