Lookout Park (Grand Rapids)

Lookout Park is a small park perched on a hill in Grand Rapids that features nice views, seating, and a small paved path. The views from the park are nice, but they miss the bulk of the Grand Rapids skyline. The park faces west, so I can imagine the view at sunset is quite lovely. The park appears to be maintained very well, and a maintenance worker walked through while we were there, picking up the small amount of garbage that was there. This park would be a great place to stretch your legs, have a picnic, or hang out with friends and family as the sun goes down. Just down the hill from the park are a number of restaurants, so the park could be a nice place to bring takeout food. There used to be stairs that went down to Division Ave, but they are in disrepair, so it is best to access the park from Fairview Ave if you are not looking for a not-so-fun climb!
