Cadillac Sound Garden

The Cadillac Sound Garden is nestled between Lake Cadillac, the Clam River, and the Cadillac Junior High and High School Complex. Although the park has a tiny footprint, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The park features a ton of large instruments, both manufactured and homemade, lots of flowers, a boardwalk over the river, and a gazebo. The xylophones were a favorite, but the homemade instruments were just as fun as well. When we arrived, there was a heron standing just beyond the instruments, but some other parkgoers accidentally scared it away. Lily pads cover the start of the Clam River, the flowers were colorful even at the end of September, and the sounds of our not-so-choreographed music rang out across the tiny park. If you are stopping in Cadillac or just want to try something new, this little park is worth a visit!
